Dear CE Friends,
Thank you again for your support of our 5 Year Anniversary event on “Securing Financing from Investors”. It was another great success and I am sure you will enjoy this next event. Cleantech, global warming and social responsibility have become hot words around the world, but what do you know about them? How does this relate to entrepreneurship?
Well, because of that buzz around the world, many venture investment professionals and entrepreneurs in China have made that their focus. China’s huge energy, water and related natural resource challenges are driving the creation of vast markets for cleantech solutions. Companies in China are also emerging as a major source of cleantech innovation. Large corporations are accelerating their adoption of cleantech into their operations and supply chains to meet corporate and government sustainability targets.
With these fundamental drivers for cleantech development in China just beginning, investors are increasingly participating in the growing opportunities to provide greater energy efficiency, alternative energy sources, and more effective resource management technologies and processes to meet the booming market demand and drive higher returns.
To gain insight on how to be successful in China’s cleantech space, join us for an exciting and informative panel discussion that will address:
- What is cleantech?
- China as a cleantech superpower
- What early and mid-stage China cleantech investors and entrepreneurs should know?
- What are the trends and drivers of cleantech investment globally and in China?
- Building a Chinese cleantech success story
- What cleantech sectors and technologies are up and coming now?
For this panel, we are happy to welcome Fraser Mendel of Morrison & Foerster and Jim Mahoney, Managing Director of Cleantech China.
We look forward to seeing you on March 19th.
